N.H. Davis Pioneer Complex & Museum- The Davis log house began as the home of W.C. Clark who constructed his log house north of town in 1831. Upon his death, the family used this log home as payment for legal work by practicing attorney Nat Hart Davis who had moved to Montgomery in 1840.
In 1851, Nat Hart Davis disassembled the Clark house and moved the logs to its present location. In addition to the log house, a side or "shed" room and attic bedroom were built, and an underground cistern was dug. As the family grew so did the home. In 1855 improvements were made to the home. Judge Davis and his family resided here until 1876. John Felix Davis, son of N.H. moved into the home and continued the renovations.
Bernhardt Winery- Taste and tour this wonderful local winery and vineyard located in nearby Plantersville.

Lake Conroe- There are many reasons to visit Lake Conroe, where you will find fine dining, wonderful accomidations, entertainment, golf, shopping, and year-round events.
Sam Houston National Forest- Located 2 miles west of I-45 on FM 1375, visitors can enoy a wide variety of activities on this 47,609 acre forested area which is operated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Fishing, trapping and public hunting of white tailed deer, feral hog, water-fowl, dove migratory game birds and more. 140 Mile Lone Star Hiking Trail is fabulous spot for hiking enthusiasts.
Montgomery Historical Districk- The Historic District of Montgomery is located one block north of the intersection of Highway 105 and FM 149.
Kings Orchard- Just down the road from Montgomery is a wonderful fruit haven, In this little town is where strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and figs abound. Add many varieties of flowers for a spectacular day in the country.
